Do you remember the old days when a man would not dare to swear in front of a woman? What about the children or teenagers who swear infront of their elders or mothers who curse at their kids? It seems like nowadays everyone has R-rated conversations filled with profanity. You can not even walk down the rowdy streets without hearing vulgar language. A person from the 60’s would have a heart attack as fast as a man with high cholesterol when they hear the attrosities of how everyone no matter if your a man, woman, or child speaks so loosely. People nowadays should go back to having G-rated conversations because it creates a sense of respect between people.
First and foremost, people nowadays should go back to having G-rated conversations because it creates a sense of repect between people. In the text, Universal Declaration of Independence it states “where as it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations” (Public Document by The UN Commision of Human Rights CR9). This tells me that it is important to make friendly relationships among those around you in the context of human interactions. Treating others the way you want to be treated is like a chain reaction. When you give respect you get it back. A mother that does not curse at her kids will teach them to not express their anger by using profanity as it is ignorant. It will also educate them to never disrespect their mother by cursing at her and possibly their elders too.
As a result, people nowadays should go back to having G-rated conversations – no profanity because it creates a sense of respect between people. If barriers are established then no one has to worry about anyone crossing them. The use of language goes a long way in the way people treat eachother. In a team everyone must all cooperate and be respectful to eachother wether its in eachothers beliefts or ideas. If they do not then there will be problems along the way with them not getting along. Showing respect is a way of treating or thinking about someone or something. You can not possibly show respect and/or give respect to others if you do not watch the way you talk to people.
