Have you ever wanted to create you own blog account? Well, to be honest I did not want to at first. When my teacher, Mrs. Wright posted this as an assignment I cringed. The thought of writing a blog haunted me. I also found creating the account itself pretty dreadful and a long process that i would have to endure. The process of creating my blog account was confusing, difficult , and fun.
First and foremost , the process of creating my blog account was confusing. There was a lot I did not know about this assignment and if I was being completely honest I did not even know it was assigned. At first I thought that I was just suppose to do an introduction video on this other website that my teacher gave me, but turns out that was a different project. I also got blog confused with vlog so, I did not understand why I could not just make a reflective video. Maybe next time ill ask my teacher for more clarity.
In addition, the process of creating my blog account was difficult. The website that my teacher, Mrs. Wright first gave me to create my blog was not working. I do not have access to a computer at home so I had to go to the library in order to create my account just to realize that the computer didn’t support the app. I then used my mother’s phone to download the app which did not work even after using four different e-mails. Finally I took it upon myself to e-mail my teacher about my frustrations and hoped that she would give me a different app to use while also giving me a few more days to complete it.
Finally, the process of creating my blog account was fun. After I got through all those obstacles I found designing and constructing my blog rather enjoyable. When I first logged on to my account it allowed me to choose my own theme. There was many choices to choose from, but i narrowed it down to two, modern and stow. I choose stow because I wanted a more bold and cleaner look for my blog. I was then able to create my own link which was pretty easy and I choose a profile picture for my blog that I love by the way. I also looked through some blog accounts and had a blast reading their blogs.
As a result, the process of creating my blog account was confusing, difficult, and fun. I can say that I am quite glad to have gone through all the challenges of this project because in the end it paid off. I feel like It helped me appreciate my blog ten times more because I put so much time into getting It. I also feel like a whole new world has opened up for me as I did not really know much about blogs. I guess you can say that this process was sour then sweet. I can not wait to use this blog to further my blogging experiences and learn new things on it.
